How it works
- Real mining. This page runs the actual RandomX proof-of-work (the same algorithm as Monero) in WebAssembly, inside your browser. Nothing is simulated.
- Solo, not a pool. Your browser talks straight to the Galimi network through a public bridge. Find a block and the entire reward lands in your address — no pool fees, no accounts.
- Your keys never leave this page. Wallet generation happens locally in JavaScript. The mining bridge only ever sees your public address.
- It's slow — honestly. A desktop browser does a few hundred hashes per second; dedicated miners do thousands. But Galimi's network is young and small, so browser miners can genuinely find blocks.
- Desktop works best. Full mode wants ~2 GB of free RAM and several CPU cores. Phones and old laptops should use Light mode.
- Keep the tab open. Mining stops when the tab closes or your device sleeps. The seed phrase restores your wallet anytime in the Galimi GUI wallet.
